Pondering

I haven't really posted anything here for a bit. Mainly because I've been trying to figure out what to do with this this blog. No privacy settings means I don't have an avenue for post that I would like to be between a small select group of friends. While my life isn't scandlous, it's not something I want to share with everyone in the world who has an computer and an internet connection.

At the same time I don't want my blog to be something I'm not and so there will be little random things about my life, but I'll spare you ramblings and post of family get togethers, challenges road blocks, and successes in my life. Oh okay well maybe I'll share the successes and even some of the failures. What I'm really trying to say is that if I don't feel comfortable putting it out to the whole world, then you won't see it here on this blog.

What I think I'll use this the most for is the things that inspire me. Ideas, creative musings, food becaus I love food and anything that captivates me.

I've got a lot going on heading into 2011 and I have a gut instict that this coming year is going to be amazing. I feel some personal growth is coming my way. I feel geared up to learn, create, write and become a better human being.

I rather miss the gated community concept, too.

The biggest problem, of course, is that most of its user base is horribly fractured now, and I don't see much reunification.

I take it you've settled on TypePad, for now. But have you heard of LiveCloud? Might be worth checking out. I haven't established a presence there yet because the community is still so small, and I am spread pretty thin just trying to rebuild at WordPress.

Then there is Dreamwidth, but I don't think a simple code fork will escape the melodrama of LiveJournal.

yeah I have a word press and just haven't really gotten into it, something about the way you have to decide if its public and private and grant access to people but there is a limit on the people kinda turns me off to it.

I haven't been writing much lately and for now its all public stuff I don't mind throwing out there so for now I'm keeping it typepad. but maybe I'll get some time and tinker with wordpress
